And now for something completely different 18 Years, 2 Months ago

Anybody fish Sugar Creek? A group of us won a trip up there at the Hall of Fame dinner and we are wondering whether to bring float tubes or not. Any particular pond there that you would fish first?? We have to fish it for two days next week and then hit the American or Yuba for shad at the end of the week. Was gonna fish shad for a couple of days, but the kids's best friend is getting married at a winery of all places. Sure thought if I signed the card and bought a gift, I wouldn't have to go. I think the wife wants a designated driver. Gotta pick the daughter up inbound from Cuba a week later. Gawd, if her years as a French student didn't drive me nuts, now I gotta hear jabbering away in Spanish as well- so much for total immersion. I just hope she brings back some of rum and some of them freshly rolled cigars. Good thing she is only around for a week before heading off to Yosemite for a summer job. More lake fishing at Sawmill towards the end of the month. Was hoping to hit the Little T the day before if work load permits. By then we should have a termite report back, so fishing will be curtailed until a couple of bathrooms get renovated. Anyone care to give some sage advice where to fish around Boise late July. Have court dates up there with free evenings to fish. Then its off to Baja for dorado, roosters and sails. Then we're heading north to AK for 10 days for silvers and the trash fish. More remodeling until steelhead season, unless I can get up to the McCloud mid September. I sure hope that the wife's knee replacement don't get in the way of fishing cuz the dance card is almost full.

Geez, I'm tired after reading that post!
You should have your swap flies by mid-week for that shad part of the agenda.

Sheesh, Bob. I should have checked in with you first. But alas, we're suckers for the direct flights during decent hours and will be up there the week prior to yours. I would have liked to tried to keep up with you two hiking from the crowds. Last week of August has always been slow for me work wise. When I retire, hopefully you would allow me caravan with you up there.
Did Chris graduate? Give him my best and let him know I said to get a job- no more feeding at the trough. ;^) You have a good kid there, Bob. Somebody did good raising him.

Thanks, Salman. I was trying to steer clear of the politics and stick to the fishing part. you can expect reports as well.

Hey, guess what the postman brought today as well? Thanks, Phil. Nice flies, everyone. I'll be sure to try them all out a week from tomorrow.
