The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

I just talked to the lady at Hereford Ranch and the other group advises that we can have the Pavillion on Saturday night. They are going to do their thing at noon. So she has switched our date to the weekend of the 14-15th.

However, NONE of the center law pull throughs on the grass to the immediate south of the Pavillion are available on the weekend. Call to make reservations where you can.

GM will be getting a sign up sheet soon which should have what campsites are available. It sounds like we have several tent sites, and there are several full hookup sites available. The way I understand it, if you want a full hookup site, you need to call Hereford and make the reservation, and as Charlie said, the sooner the better. I think we have the tent sites already reserved and we will coordinate that through the sign up sheet (if anyone else knows better, than feel free to correct me ).

Hi Charlie - I talked to her earlier today to get it sorted out. Apparently the other group might even join us Saturday night. We have the following tent sites:

29,33,42,43,44,62,70, and 71 - NOTE: these are very large (and nice) grass sites. Other tents sites (dirt) are also available.

There are 13 full hookup sites available as well.

Well, unfortunately, it doesn't look like I'm going to make it this year. My Niece's wedding is June 6 in SoCal and I'm going to Pismo for a week starting June 23 for some perch surfing. Both of these have been on the calender for a while, especially the wedding and of course the camping at Pismo.

I will miss seeing all of you. Perhaps next year.

Perhaps you can put about 15-20 minutes of your jokes on a tape and send them to me?...we can then play it over the speaker system during dinner on Saturday night - you could be our "virtual" stand-up entertainment for the evening. Did you take lessons from Robin Williams?

Howdy Folks,

Well, Sorry to say I will miss you all this year due to the only engagement I would put as a higher priority event than the Bash. That event is the Fathers Day Bluegrass Festival in Grass Valley ! I have not missed one in about 30 years and plan to keep that streak going until I physically can't make it someday .

The whole band and our families go up there every year for the entire 4 days, Thursday through Sunday. We get to hear some of the best bluegrass on the planet all day and up untill about 11:00 pm and then we jam until the wee hours of the morning. We don't get a lot of sleep but then heck, its only once a year we do that for a few days ! With our brand new CD, we also get an opportunity to showcase it a little while we are there .

I will be thinking of you guys and missing the bash experience as well but that is the way it goes. I will do a version of the Northern California Fly Fishing Blues with the band Saturday night and dedicate it to you all .

Have fun and hope to catch up with some of you elsewhere on the water this year before its gone.
