Andrew and I will be up there.
He has a new flyrod and he wants to try it up there. First time in five years that I have the opener w/e off! Yipee!
BTW- Nice holdover planters hitting streamers locally! FRG

Ah...can't miss opening day! Bake-bo Jr. and I are heading to the usual haunts in the greater 4 corners area. That kid is turning into a real Lee S. in that he's always seems to have a fish on every time I turn around Hope to connect with some of ya'll again either on the water or at the Cassel FD pancake breakfast up that ways.

Gonna hit the Beardsley after bay with Michael and grandsons, at least that is the current plan.
Room to backcast, and lots of roaming room. If it's crowded, it'll be crowded.

May head down to Kings Canyon on Sunday.....

Hey Ed,
I think it's gonna be a good year for the upper kings. Hopefully, it doesn't warm up all at once and melt all of the snowpack at one time. I'm itching to hit up the Cedar Grove area. It's a great place to fish. Lot's of wildlife and you can't beat the scenery. I'm scheduled to release our trout into the lower kings on Sunday. I'll be fishing the lower afterwards. Hope you have a great trip and give us a report.

Hey TD,

I'll be on the Truckee River for the opener.

I look forward to getting up your way sometime and fishing the NFF. In the meantime enjoy the whitewater rafters for me...tell DS thanks for his efforts to destroy riparian habitat for me.
