Fly Tying Demo at Kiene's Oct. 4 17 Years, 11 Months ago
Hey everybody,

I'm back. I've even fished a little lately.

Moved to Sac., still tying like crazy.

I'll be tying the first Sat. of Oct., Nov., Dec. and Jan at Kiene's 10-2 p.m.

The first one will be baetis patterns based on Shane Stalcup concepts and materials.

Come on by and say hif if you get a chance.

Bernie

Sheesh, they'll let anybody in here. . . 17 Years, 11 Months ago
if they stay away long enough.

Bernie, so what have you been up to? You ever learn how to successfully use the internet without being medicated? Just kidding. Hope all is good in your life and that your absence wasn't due to hospitalization. I look forward to your posts.

The turnout was great!

Thanks everybody for stopping by. I showed some folks some new things and learned some new things myself.

El Rey, samples from your travels are welcome here . I forgot about the "Putah Creek Survival Kit" from a bash raffle a few years ago. That was too funny! The look on your face when you received a camo bra, thong and a chest pack full of Taco Bell condiments and napkins that was deliberately planned for someone else in the crowd.....I'm glad you quickly replaced your horror and disappointment with a good laugh.

Anyway, thanks again everybody. It was good fun and I'll do it again the first Saturday in November.

Bernie - it has been too long. I trust all is well. Last we spoke you were talking about moving to Sac, it looks like you did. I recently re-read a book you gave me. The author's navigational skills leave much to be desired. It took him three trips to find the creek and he nearly died in a snow storm once he finally did find it. I found my way in and out of there first try!

Let's go fishing!
