The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

I was thinking of purchasing the first in this series for someone close to me that is a recovering from substance abuse. My question to any of you who have seen it is appropriate for someone who is recovering from substance abuse. It's no big deal if they are drinking a beer or two in the movie, my worry is someone hittin' the pipe at the end of the epic day of fishing might prove a little persuasive. This person has taking up fly fishing since cleaning up and from what I've seen and heard this is a great movie. Thanks for any and all responses, Mark

Good call! i've been in a similar situation. From my experience, if there was any beer drinking or pipe hitting, it didn't have any huge influence on the person in recovery. They were so excited about fly fishing it didn't matter.

Buy the vid. (i don't remember any smoking or drinking in it) open it and screen it. You'll feel more comfortable giving to your friend knowing what's in it.

word on the street is that the sierra's are poppin off right now. My buddy just had a 70 fish day on the owens! (or maybe he's full of _hit)

there is none of that in it that i recall

they do drink some brews in tbd:patagonia ... but its nothing that should have an effect on your buddies recovery.
