Went out tonight with my dad. Started off windy, but it died down as the sun slid below the mountains. It was a bit slow until then. We managed about 25 fish between the two of us (that's total, not each). All Smallies, no trout. The hatch did happen, late, as these things normally do. Still, good fun was had by all. If you are local, it's worth an evening to try out. North Shore is the place to be.

Wow! I guess "Bjornian numbers" are not exclusive to trout!

Well, that was split between my dad and myself, so it wasn't epic, but it was a lot of fun. Fish weren't big, but when you get to cast really big dry flies and have any kind of fish take them it is bound to be a good time.
