The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

First of all, I do have all my teeth and a pretty good RETIREMENT income, Junior. Second, I don't know who "Big Hair Sally" is but I'm not keen on her assuming my attributes and identity. I did have a great time on the Feather and in all honesty, want to clear up a couple items that started out this thread: I did not catch one dang steelhead on dries. I swung San Juan worms and bead head Prince nymphs, among others. The thing was, I just don't like indicator fishing and I am sure as hell not going to pay to fish some technique that I don't enjoy. Boy, it's great to be an independent, older woman and if you can't do what you want then, when in the heck can you?
p.s. I also bird hunt so HA!

Good on ya Mrs. X. I'm an "older" gentleman with the greatest wife in the world who encourages me to fish often. One day we may see each other on the stream or lake and I think I would enjoy trading flies. And hurray for your independence and willingness to fight off attempts to do something for which you have an aversion.

With all the other traits listed here, I'll bet she leaves the toilet seat up for her man after she's done. That would be the topper!
