Figure you folks will appreciate this. A friend of mine is a great photographer, met her through her dog photography business. She has been working on a series of photos of birds nests. I've had the privilege of seeing them first hand, 2' x 3'. The photos are featured in the latest issue of Audubon--on the cover, no less. Great stuff.

Those are phenomenal photos! 17 Years, 7 Months ago  
The amount of detail in those photos is amazing! It is kinda strange to see nests out of context--as art rather than a feature in the environment--but it is beautiful to look at their forms. Thanks for sharing!

Eventually there'll be a book. I was at her studio where she had some of the nests she photographed. They're amazing in person, and then the large photos, with amazing detail are, um, amazing. Here's her personal website:
