welp, somehow found my way to a drainage ditch and drug up some type or other trash fish.. but what the heck...

Jeeze man...where you been ??

Let's go fishing sometime! I'll be around most of the year (one 5 week gig in AK in June/July)...so lots of free time this year to get fishy, and have a cold one streamside!

yep... it's been a while.. had to figure out which end of the fishin pole to use... but once if figured out you held onto the cork end, it was pretty smooth sailing, not castin, from there.

hooked 5, landed 4, including the carp above and a few 1/2 lbers.. not a bad way to spend a day, that's for sure.

It's a rod Billy... it's a rod.

I've never seen my father so dissapointed in me as when I said "fishing pole." He just looked at me and said "It's a rod, Bjorn. It's a rod."

See, a pole is just a stick with some line tied to it. What we use are rods.

I'll ask the authorities not to take back your fishing license this time... but I don't know if I can hold them back if you say "pole" again.

I always thought a fishing pole 17 Years, 7 Months ago  
...was a guy named Stanley Yblanski who worked on a boat out of the Noyo Harbor at Fort Bragg...until I cast a Sage...them's fish poles that are related to telephone poles...
