Oyster mini-bash at Manchester :pic: 17 Years, 8 Months ago
Had a good time at the Oyster mini-bash - thanks to Kim (aka Chick) for organizing this! The KOA Cottages (err...I mean Kottages) at Manchester will be used again - perfect location...it's back in the korner of the place so playing music and making a little noise wasn't an issue.

The fishing was a little slow on the Garcia - saw fish roll but they didn't seem to be there in numbers (this will change...). Anyway, I'll let the pics tell the rest of the story - had a good time!

Wow looks like you guys had a great time. I remember what happened to Joey the last time he had some oysters and a swig of jamesons at a spring bash. To bad the fishing wasn't better. Thanks for the pictures.

Yup, that report pretty well sums up the parts I was awake for....

Picture number 10, with Kim and SST... Who is that guy in the background?? I HAKE him!!

I never saw any fish roll, but I did one slight tug about 3 in the afternoon satirday. Alles.

Questions Unanswered About the Mini-bash 17 Years, 8 Months ago
Sounds like a good time was had by all! However, there are many unanswered questions regarding this event. Did Kelly catch and not release any surf perch? Were there any No NCFFB signs on that un-named "G" river? Was the outlaw from Arizona fishing those illegitimate things he calls flies (God, I hate that guy)? Did Ed cure his tailing loop? Did the Fire Goddess have enough wood? Did the oysters work? Did Kelly two-time me with someone else in the honeymoon suite? For God's sake, who held the title of LMS? Will there be a movie out soon?

Inquiring minds want to know! And don't give me that line "What happens on the Garcia stays on the Garcia".

None of those questions have anything to do with the Garcia. Well, okay - there were no "No NCFFB" signs: no one threatened to kick any part of our anatomy while we were fishing, although a noted NCFFB-o-phobe was sighted by the Fire Goddess on Friday; Yes he was - that's why we hake him; My tailing loop still tails; LMS were not me; What happens in the Manchester KOA may or may not stay in the Manchester KOA ; und Wolfie says 'Hola!'

Yes, they did. In the gastrological, but not the biblical, sense.

Yes, he did. With Ed K, Arizona Bruce, and GM. So he actually 3 timed you, this time.

LMS was actually LWS (last women standing). Yet, we kept GM around. Only to referee the pillow fight in the girl's dorm, later.

Pillow Fight :pic: 17 Years, 8 Months ago
Well - I'll admit that the pillow fight was more entertaining than hanging out in the other kabin. I'd score the fight a tie.

Psssst, Ed....

If you wanna eliminate that tailing loop, employ an elliptical casting stroke. You'll never be razzed again, guaranteed.

Hmmmmm, an elliptical casting stroke, eh? What should be the eccentricity of the ellipse? I am pretty eccentric myself.......

Never be razzed again?? what's the fun in that? See you at a Spring Bash sometime, and you can partake of some real razzing....

I'm not too sure if I follow, Ed. I suppose the eccentricity of the ellipse would be that since a tailing loop is the most common of casting ills, regardless of one's casting profiency, by never throwing one could be considered as eccentric...

...and you can partake of some real razzing....

After recent events here, I can only imagine.

Hey Phil,

Unfortunately I did not catch any serf purch(or surf perch) this time.

It was a good time. And as you can see from GM's post he referreed the pillow fight between Dawn and Chick. I referreed the pillow fight between Ed and AZ Bruce.

...and unfortunately there was no sensual leopard art in the KOA kabin.
