The Fly Shop's Fresh H20 rods 17 Years, 8 Months ago  
Has anyone had any experience with these rods? The prices are nice, especially their 30th anniversary special for $299, which includes their L2a reel and any Sage, Rio, or Scientific Angler Mastery fly line and free shipping. I just wonder if I have to pay California sales tax? I want to get a decent rod to designate as my chuck and duck rod, so at that price I would not feel so bad about abusing it with some ridiculously weighted articulated streamers.

If you do not reside in California you shouldn't have to pay the sales tax.
