Ron Hayashi will speak to the Fly Fishers of Davis on Tuesday, January 29. The club will meet at Harper Jr. High School at 7:30 p.m. Ron is a life-long Sacramento resident and a well-known local fisherman of great skill. After a long career in the merchant marines he retired several years ago as a Chief. Since then he has become truly dialed in to the Delta stripers and has been involved in a rod development project which has led to a line of light but extremely powerful rods designed for stripers and Delta waters. His program will focus on these unique rods and their capabilities as well as light rod techniques and tackle. All are welcome to come hear Ron's program and swap fish stories.
