...just an FYI to mention that the board software has been upgraded. The three main things that you will notice being fixed/improved:

1.) Accidental double posts will not happen anymore.
2.) The posting "Preview" will now show a preview of your post below the window that you are typing in - no more popup windows for the message preview.
3.) The "Show Latest Posts" link at the top of the forum now works better. It lists the most recently active topics and how many new posts exist in that topic.

Many other minor bug fixes have been made as well. Let me know if you have any problems. Only YOU can make this message board a better place.

Thanks for all your efforts in making this a great board and a ton of fun for all of us! I had one question regarding previewing our messages. Unless I am doing something wrong I can preview the text portion of my messages but not see the photos. Previewing the photos for me is helpful to make sure they will show up in the size that I want them to. Will it be possible at some point to upgrade software so we can see photos in our previews of message that we intend to include in our post?

Hey Bill - you can preview photos if they are hosted somewhere else and you are using the "img" tags to reference them. That should work fine. What you can't preview is a photo that you are going to upload to the post. You can't preview that because the photo doesn't exist until you submit the post - that's when the photo gets uploaded and attached to your post. Let me know if you still have trouble previewing photos that use the "img" tag (that is - they exist elsewhere on the internet). That should work fine.

By the way - it's in the works to make it possible so you can upload more than one photo to a post - that will be available in a future upgrade of the board.

Thanks, I might be doing something wrong. My last post to show the CD front and back cover design I used photos I uploaded to Photobucket just like I did them in the past but again I couldn't see the photos in the preview. They did show up in the post however. When I get home tonight I will look at my original post information again.

ok - let me know if you have trouble with that next time...the preview should be showing those photos.

I know there are some "growing pains" with the new board software but believe me - it will continue to improve and it will allow the site to grow in ways that we never could before.
