...cabin fever that is. I got knocked down with a little "bug" these last few days and once I started feeling better I got another fever...of the cabin variety. I decided to head out and check some of the local haunts today. Snowing off and on around here - the winds the other day were as strong as I've seen in a long time.

A few pics are below - not of the "jims quality" - just some quick snapshots.

-Greg

A few day old snowman on hwy. 175:

Adam's Springs Golf Course:

Still standing after the winds! Nearest thing to a Freight Train that I've ever heard:

Down lower on hwy 175 (near Middletown) this tree knocked down some power lines (you can see the break just above the blue truck). This tree is bigger than it looks in the pic!:

A fence on its last legs:

Kelsey Creek is flowing a little more normal right now. And yes - there are plenty of trout in there.

Nice pics! Glad to hear you are feeling better. Your driveway looks like a sheet of ice Hmmm, after viewing all those winter scenes, I think I need a nice hot cup o' tea

Hey Greg,

Glad to hear you are up and about. I knew something was not quite right when I didn't see you on the board or posting much. This weather has been something else. Nice collection of pics ! Saw lots of those downed fences and trees over here in Sac driving around the last couple days.

So far so good on reports from the burned areas in S Calif where I have been working a lot with local governments to try an protect homes and other improvements from potential mud and debris flow damage from the burned areas. Seems as though things have worked pretty well so far. Will continue to keep my fingers crossed however.

Best Wishes!

Bill

Those "Flolds" really

I really like that fence picture. That one is CLOSE to JimS quality. Or at least if JimS took a picture of that it would be good.

You need a fire hose, go attach it to that hydrant and melt all that friggin white stuff off your CALIFORNIA real estate! NO SNOW ALLOWED! That junk belongs up North in Canada or out "east" somewhere.
