Fly Fishing from the shore in Wailea, Maui?? 17 Years, 9 Months ago  
I'll be in Wailea for a week in early January and I'm contemplating bringing my fly rod. Is there any good fishing from shore in the area? I'm happy to drive an hour or so. Don't have time for any long trips or boat charters. Suggestions for flies would be welcome, I'd probably bring a few deceivers and other striper flies.
