Twas the day before Christmas... on the Upper Sac 17 Years, 9 Months ago  
and... I didn't catch a thing. Water is low and clear (and cold) and the fish were not moving to nymphs fished deep. There were a few risers coming up for BWO's, but they were quickly put down. Fished for a couple of hours with my dad and while fish were seen, they were not felt.

Still... fishing with snow on the ground feels like you are REALLY fishing...

Troll ??? or did you get a new crackpipe for Cristmas..if you really do own a flyshop this probably isn't the best way to advertise.You must be doing well though if you can send lots of people out to check out this forum. In the mean time you may want to work on your disorganized post.Please post the name of your shop so that people that take offense to your post never make the mistake of walking into your shop.

Ah jeez...I was expecting some rhymes... 17 Years, 9 Months ago  
....with tales of Bjornian numbers.

Oh well, at least you got out on the water. I might add that if fishing with snow on the ground feels like real fishing, then wading in a cold river with snow falling around you feels as though you're not the most intelligent being on earth. (Aka a "steelhead fisherman".)

Any way, best to you and your fam for the New Year, hope you're getting situated in your new digs.

Hey Frank, no text in the message, seems like it didn't go over too well... yikes. I'll be by this week most likely to see if you are tying on Thursday night.

A note... if whatever Frank said seemed like a troll, it probably was just him having a little fun and was certainly not going to offend me in any way.
