foggy, cold, and the fishing sucked! But it was good to be on the water again! BTW, I found a reel on the rocks. If you lost your reel, pm me to claim it.

I was on the Yuba yesterday, too. Foggy, cold. Got skunked, but had plenty of company. About a mile upstream on my favorite run the Gold Country FFers were having an outing. Except for one young lad who caught one on a skwala, everyone else was skunked, too--as best as I could see. One guy downstream reported catching one on a red copper john early in the day. With the flows at 3,000 cfs, there were occasional rises close to the bank, probably an errant skwala or PMD (?), but no real hatches.

yeah, no kidding we had company! but at least you saw a couple of rises. I didn't see any, and agree no hatch going on. Do you know any contacts with the Gold Country FFer's? maybe I'll let them know about the reel I found.

And just between us, the dude that said he caught one earlier in the day, I don't believe him!

I think they're from Nevada City. You might contact the Nevada City Fly Shop.
