Really old times if you can remember back far enough to when we would go sometimes almost a week or more between posts. Of course that was back before BASHES and the thought of actually meeting someone in person from the posting on the Board was a bit scary to say the least.

At any rate, I know a lot of you still look just like I do from time to time and so I just wanted to wish you all a very Happy New Year even if it is a bit early before New Year's Eve.

All the rivers in the northern coast are brown and muddy tonight and their is no joy in mudville unless you are steelhead, and it is too muddy for anyone to fish So I do not have a report for you other than it will be awhile before rivers are in shape on the northern coast.

Jeff,

Great to see you post. How are ya? Miss you at Pyramid, there's no one around who the Indian kid can lose to on the pool table, no matter how hard he tries.

Still a few of the old crowd who show up there every year.....

A Happy New Year to you and your family Jeff and the rest of you that look in on
the board even if most aren't saying much !
A side note...Jeff I never found it scarry meeting anyone from the NCFFB but I will
say that only a few of them were just really not my kind of people and I have a lot
of "Great Trips" memories with a couple hundred fly fishers from this forrum....
Its been a fun ride !

Happy New Year from up north, those were the days ! the few I met here were all great folks and some traveled up here to fish some of my home waters
