NorCal bound, with mucho luggage 14 Years, 9 Months ago
Whether you are a friend or foe, you probably know how much Northern California anadromous fishing means to this Zonie. Since 2002, NorCal fishing has been my passion. Fate has found me a wonderful woman who happens to live in the bay area, someone I knew in high school. (Thank you Facebook.) I don't know if it'll last, but I'm heading up to her place for the next 3.5 months, to fish and see if we can co-habitate without killing each other. What a hoot it would be to become a Californian! If it doesn't work out, I'm Oregon or Washington bound. I've now surpassed a landmark; I've lived in AZ more than half of my life, and it's time to get closer to steelhead. I can't imagine what it would be like to go on a one or two day fishing trip, since it now takes at least 15 hours for me to drive to the nearest SH river.

A steelhead fly fisherman needs two qualities:
A strong casting arm and a room temperature IQ.

Stay in California. If I see that little red sissy mobile of yours pulled over on the pennisula
I will make sure Sargent Diazs cousins Jonas and Romulus will give you a rectal exam.

Yeah, but I'll pay taxes. Last I heard, CA could use some!

Hey, high school girls LOVE that "little red sissy mobile" with the stud driving it, but no, for long trips I bring up the silver Honda Odyssey soccer mom mobile.
