This time of the year has so many outdoor activities, some times it's a task to decide which one ya want to do!
While Deer season is still open ( I haven't seen a buck I wanted to take, yet.Congrats BT!)
Steelhead are moving into all the local runs on the rivers here and Valley Quail season opens the 16th. I'll spend Saturday morning in the tree stand watchhing for that Buck until we start hearing multiple covey calls, then a stoll through the ranch to maybe shoot some Quail, then back to the Victorian for sandwhiches and ale!
Whew! I git tired just thinkin about it!
Nowadays, I spend almost half of my days off at some kind of health care facility just trying to maintain my health to a functional level where I can still work and play.
Thinking of many of the people out there and here,
I sympathize with those like myself that are gettin on in their years and spend much of the time conserving enegy so that they may maintain their health, as it can be a full time commitment for some that just cant get out on the water or in the field anymore, because their illness has tied them down.
To those I'll raise my glass and say salud!- here's one for you Folks!
I'll be thinking of you out there when I set the hook or squeeze the trigger this w/e and will post a pic or two early next week! FRG/CB
