FYI - The river is blown out. The color is as dirty as I've seen it in years.
Nobody will be hooking +50 fish this week.

Apparently, a trib to Keswick (the river's headwater) had major erosion issues during the rains we had the other day, and added considerable color to Keswick Reservoir.

I know a lot of people on the BB who come up in mid/late October for the 'egg bite'. Not happening anytime this week... save your gas.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Thanks for the update. Hope it clears up by Monday a week. Monterey Fly Flingers are making our annual trip. Hoping for good fishing, even if only a few fish a day!!
