Do you know why it's so large (in dimension)? The actual image is only about 2.5"x3" or so. It's interesting that it would upload so big.
Over the past 5 years I have been collecting various articles, studies, pictures, etc. from various publications which talk about environments which have changed over the past 100 years. Alot of them have then and now pictures. When re-looking at all of these articles, publications, and studies juxtasposed againts one another...it's alarming! Kinda. Our environment is changing. There is absolutley no way to prove that it's not. It's a shame for sure.
In reality I'm on the fence as to whether, in the grand scheme of it all, if that is really a bad thing. The Earth, it's various environments, and multitude of species have been changing and adapting for millions of years. I think we are just excellerating (sp?) the process. But in the end, a balance will be found, new environments will be in harmony, and the worlds remaining inhabitants/species will have adapted and be able to thrive within it's new surrounds. At this point though...it's all a question of where/what/who it will remain.
O.k...enough waxing theoretical poetics...I gotta get back to work.
