bone fishing opportunities on the flats area of Salt Lake. It is a little known fishery, but for those in the know. . .
Just got back from fishing the Green below Flaming Gorge. My partner insisted on stopping by the Red Iguana for some Mexican food. It was based on something he saw on Diners, Drive ins and Dives as soon as we landed in SLC. We beat the lunch time crowd, in fact the parking lot was empty. Come to find out they were still closed, but they let us in early. When we left, there wasn't a open parking spot available. I am happy to report that the restaurant serves up a fine selection of authentic Mex. If you speak Spanish, you can even order in espanol. The place is so popular that they expanded to 3 restaurants in the Salt Lake area. The one we hit had gas infared heaters on the eaves facing the street. When we asked what they were for, we're told that they were for the winter time crowd waiting outside on the side walk to get in. The beer stays light until sometime in the afternoon, meaning I could not have a Negro Modelo for lunch. It appears that you won't have difficult time finding fishing ops until the water turns hard.
