Last Fall The Grande Ronde and Methow river had great returns of Steelhead in Washington. Both rivers are great destination trips with little disappointment. The Grande Ronde has the nick name Little Deschutes. It is a beautiful river with great swing fishing and good dry fly steelhead action. Both rivers are beautiful and have easy access to local airports for the out of town traveler. I fish the Methow after the Grande Ronde. The fishing pressure slows a little more and there is more fish. Both rivers have great fly water. They also have some trout too. If you have never head of them check them out.

We teach traditional methods with spey, switch and single handed rods. Most of the local fishing is an easy commute from Seattle ranging from 1/2 hour to 2 hours max.
