I think so too!
What is "funny" about is the cars. You would think the cars with expired tags would be beat up old cars, but they're not, it's mostly expensive newer cars, Escalades, Beemers, MBZ, SUVs, and VANS. I was sitting at a signal in Fairfield yesterday and all three cars I could see the plates of were expired. I could of gotten a triple! There is so many it isn't even funny. Santa Rosa is the worst place I've seen so far.
Did you see this in the news DFG regs:
All Central Valley anadromous waters that are listed as "closed to salmon fishing and no take and possession of salmon" in the district or special regulations are also closed to any catch and release fishing that results in hooking or attempting to hook a salmon.
As a reminder, Section 1.80 defines take as "Hunt, pursue, catch, capture or kill fish, amphibians, reptiles, mollusks, crustaceans or invertebrates or attempting to do so."
There will be no allowance for any catch and release fishing that targets salmon when the river or stream is closed to salmon fishing.
It is about time they closed that loophole. The flossers and beaders used to hammer the spring run salmon in the Feather and the Yuba.
All wild Steelhead are now CPR (catch, photo, release)
Waters that are barbless, artificial lures only... no scented lures, rubber worms or additives are allowed either.
