I was able to tell these folks didn't have tags because we're required to have tags displayed on our plates so I could see they didn't have theirs. I'm curious, how could you tell the folks you found didn't have current tags?

Thats absolute horseshit I was pulled over and issued a fix it ticket in rohnert park 3 years ago and my tags were only expired for one week. As far as the fishing liscence thing goes. Its about time the game wardens get off their lazy arses and do their
jobs. I get checked all the time by game wardens for my liscence that my hooks are barbless etc. And there are even less gsme wardens in Wa than Ca.
