Well with all the rain, I got depressed, so I thought it was time go fishing.
Usually I like the end of January, but got a late start this year.
So I thought it would be a good time to look over some of the North coast rivers to Southern Oregon. The belly of the Eel would be a good start and rest. Then a cruise by the Mad and onward to the Smith by passing a couple of smaller streams that used to hold great promise. The Smith is always tricky but clear, and holds great promise. After all its tradition, even in late February. Hopefully no downers.
Just late run 3 salt.
There are always a few chromers, time and hard work always pay off.
