I hear people are catching lots of small Stripers in the Delta with a few medium size fish too.

I would think there are some Steelhead in most of the Valley rivers now but I would not make a long drive for them right now. Maybe after a little rain. If you live on one of our Nor Cal river I would be out there all the time for the chance to hook a nice Steelhead.

I hear Rancho Seco Lake/Pond, south of Sacramento, will be planted with trout for the big derby on the weekend of Dec 12/13, 2009.

Heard the Klamath River, from Iron Gate down stream to Interstate 5, was good for Steelhead.
