What a travesty.
But just one note of caution. I used to work closely with the tribes while a district ranger at Happy Camp on the Klamath River. Some, I would even venture to say most tribal members, really are serious stewards of the resources, especially the fisheries. But as in any population there are those who behave irresponsibly and even a bunch of outlaws. No shortage of them in that neighborhood.
Lets hope the tribes can do a better job of regulating their own. They should get it. They rely on the river resources more than any of us.
