Fishing was great from Thursday through Sunday. While small Mayfly nymphs were the way to go most of the weekend, Friday evening when I saw you walking the tracks, I had just caught the only fish of the trip that took an adult October Caddis on the surface.
We managed to catch fish in all three sections of the river over the 4 days. Once again, my biggest fish of the trip were taken upsteam from a bridge (where my avatar picture was taken on a prior trip) and those were the only ones that consistently took the October Caddis Pupa.
Nothing broken (not even my arm that went numb after falling off the bank onto a rock) or lost except a couple of flies that stayed with fish (and some that stayed hooked to the bottom)...no Browns, just Rainbows, no fish bigger than 14 inches, but we caught fish in each area we fished so it was a good outing.
