The Albright stuff is really a pretty outstanding value. I just got one of their rods, $80 for an 8/9. That same rod is now $60, frigging incredible deal. Their 80% off thing is a bit like walking into a furniture store and seeing 50% off, but that 50% off is a price that no one has ever paid... it's marketing. The current sale they have going on is really 25% off. They have very low prices to begin with.
I've seen the 80% sale mentioned other places. It's a good deal and might be 80% less than you'd pay for similar gear other places, but it isn't 80% off their normal prices.
