OT, you can't fish from a boat on the Williamson? Is that a new reg? Been years since I've fished it... but it seems like we fished from a boat at the time... as did others. What I remember about it was sly lines, soft hackles and small leaches... I also recall floating over "frog water" and being amazed to see 5-10 pound trout... fish were where you wouldn't expect them and, not expecting them there, we didn't catch those big ole huge fish. If you have a time machine, there is a Hex hatch. Happy fishing.
