The last couple of weeks I have been focusing on the upper (dam to Conant) and the upper canyon (conant to cottonwood). This year the upper canyon has been the most consistent. If you are going to do a trip up here then I would wait until the middle or end of September. The blue wing olive hatches on this river can be pretty ridiculous. The flats and tailouts get loaded with fish rising to this last big hatch of the summer. Let me know if you have any more questions.
