The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

Has anyone fished around there lately, namely Raymond Lake???

I will be staying at a cabin up there the week of 9/7-9/14 and I was thinking of spreading out away from just the "Blue Lakes."

I had also entertained the thought of walking down Meadow Creek to the confluence with the NF Mokelumne. It looks to be a ~1700 foot elevation drop to the bottom of the canyon. Has anyone here made that trek before? Is it a one day in/out or should I plan on taking a tent if I do it?
