Fished sun, mon, tue, on the east walker. Lots of fisherman below dam for one mile, you will have to wait in line to fish a hole but still seems very productive. Fished a couple of miles downsteram with good luck. Aprox. 5 fish per hour in the streatch below the dam and 3-4 per hour further down stream. Lost a couple over 22" and landed some nice 18-20". Try red san juan with a s&m dropper. Also flashy caddis poopas seemed to produce. Never seen so many browns...only one 15" rainbow landed. This is not the place to find peace and quiet, but you will find lots of nice browns. Try to move around a lot to find the big fish; focus on undercut banks ond deep holes, although you will find some nice fish in faster runs too, but they tend to be smaller. Go give it a try, but go durring the week. You will still be shocked at how many people are fishing below the dam on a weekday, but it is well worth the wait in line and you may meet a few nice folks in the process. Good luck, Pit
