Challenging fishing, to be sure, but that is part of the experience. I must say I did catch a 5 pound+ brown on my first cast in the country, but only caught one more the rest of the day.
As you mentioned, a friendly wonderful place to fish. And no bears to deal with while wandering around all that beautiful back country!
