The Ruby river decision has to do with access via two bridge county right of ways. The claim was that the right of way went to an hour glass shape at the bridge. That was thrown out. There is still another bridge that needs research as to the origin of the road. The decision allows crossing a fence that is attached to the bridge to access the river. All other trespass laws still apply. You must be below the high water mark or you are trespassing.
