I laughed when I saw the mention of "pink PMD's". A couple of years ago, some friends were fishing the south fork of the Snake and had tons of fish rising all around them. they threw everything they had at them and could get nothing to take. Next day they went to a local fly shop and were told that the mayflies needed to be pink. The owner said, "Oh yeah, they're eating ______, it's a pink mayfly. Who'd have thunk?
