Looks like jewelry and native american fetish art isn't the only thing that is creating competition for fly tying material...

I hope that the "hair extention' crazies only use the big webby saddle hackles and none of the micro-barb variety that work so well for emergers and dry flies!

Sorry Paul, but they are using the micro barb feathers. Some fly shops have reported sales of $600-700 at one time buying the hackles. Our best recourse is to ridicule how stupid they look as "feather-heads" in public. May slow down some of them. LOL
