Figure the board needs reports since it's so damn quiet. I took a few days, fished NF Feather and briefly Middle Fork Feather on Wednesday, caught a few, not like Troutdale would have done. I was staying in Quincy--took Gold Lakes Highway over to Highway 49, fished NF Yuba, Haypress, Salmon Creek (it was beautiful and looked fishy, but didn't prove to be). North Fork Yuba was really good, fishing pretty close to where Gold Lakes Highway hits 49. Friday went over to the Little Truckee and had a really good day. Caught lots of fish, some surprisingly big--though I'm pretty sure every single one was a planter. No complaints. All took parachute adams or stimulators. Water was pretty low all told, but there were fish in pools and runs with decent flow. Water was very clear and the fish were easy to see, semi-spooky. Weather was great, scenery was great, had some decent food in Quincy. All good.
