The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

i just opened my flyshop catalog. The flyshop has the exclusive rights to the Bolibaka club. while it is a coup of sorts for the fly shop to have this. I believe that the people in charge are selling themselves to the devil to obtain these rights. Westlands water diastrict owns this land. Westlands only aquired this land so that they would have no landowners in there way when they lobby some corrupt congressman (IE DIANE FEINSTEIN AND BARBARA BOXER) to obtain the funding to raise the dam on lake shasta and to ensure it had any water rights to the water.Raising the dam on lake Shasta would flood this stretch of the Mccloud. Anybody that fishes the Mccloud should be concerned about this. Westlands is also the sworn enemy of anybody that fishes the delta or the trinity.
Therefore I am deleting my links to the flyshops website and burning the catalog in my burn barrel. I will not buy anything from them as long as they have this associaton with westlands.

I agree regarding the Fly Shop and Bolibokka and Westlands. Agree about Feinstein, too. But...plenty of blame to go around when it comes to currying favor with Westlands: Democrats and Republicans alike.

I agree westlands can buy any politician it wants dem or rep. Feinstein has been on of the biggest proponents for raisng Shasta dam. Boxer has been more under the radar this year because she faces a tough re-election.
