North Coast advice for steelhead 15 Years, 6 Months ago
Hey guys,
The Trinity is fishing very well, get your butts up there! Klammath has been fishing good as well, just smaller fish (at least for me).

I keep getting the itch to try the North Coast rivers like the Smith and Chetco. Gotta check that off my "bucket list". I have a raft, so I can float them. Any advice on places to fish? Good put-ins/take-outs? Ways to avoid getting in the way of the bait slingers? Even advice on places to stay or eat?

I figure this trip might end up being purely exploratory, but I would appreciate any direction some of you might have.

...might hit one of the lower coastal rivers on the way back if things are slow. I'm open any any advice on those as well.

cheers,
~Brett
