I haven't fished it in three years, my buddy fished it last year. It's good, the best experience is if you are willing to walk. The Coleman ditch is very easy access that we'd fish at dusk mostly with dries because it's close to camp (on the property). The various beats are somewhat strenuous and are like a mini Pit River, although not the big round boulders that you slip off of all over, it's more the hike down a small canyon the resembles parts of the pit. Wildlife and scenery are awesome and because of the type of fishing it seemed to trim down the number of clientele.
I've had spectacular indicator fishing on weighted black Kaufmann stoneflys. The fish are colorful and fight hard, the ones I caught ran anywhere from 12" to 18"(Rainbows). In the fall some steelhead make thier way up and add an extra treat, my buddy seems to get one or two everytime he goes (around 20" to 25"
Hope that helps.
