Haven't posted in a long time so I thought I would give an update on NFF. Fished it a couple of days ago and the ticket was Prince Nymphs, size 14 or 16 bead head and no bead as well. Mainly fished Caribou road with my son and got into mostly planters, but it was a fun day. Also, a game warden stopped to say hi and check my license, which was nice to see with as few that are out there they are still visible.

We probably crossed paths. We were camping off of Caribou from Weds - Sun. Caught a ton of fish , mainy planters 10" - 12" but some nice holdovers in the 15" range as well. Fished the school house area on the main river and got into a few nice ones as well. Agree..prince nymphs were the ticket! Heard some guys say they did well above the Belden Forebay. I havent fished up there in a couple of years.

Glad you had a good time OLC, I did not fish above the forebay either, but would like to next time. I did fish the first rest stop from Lake Oroville and got into a couple 14-15 inchers. There were bugs, but only a few fish were rising. That river is one of my favorites.
