I had one of those... got faded and tore up and eventaully... well, I have no idea what happened to it.

I lost the first Bash shirt I had too... think I've lost two of those by now... and I don't really have a "misplace your shirt" kind of lifestyle.

Those early days on the Board were great and all the advice I got helped me develop and improve and find new water.

These days the board is different. Everything is different, so that shouldn't come as a surprise. Well, Andy Rooney has pretty much stayed the same, so at least there is that.

I still have my tshirt from the first bash - - - although I seem to have "outgrown" it. Ah... cookies and ice cream.

Although, as all us old oldtimers know, Bash One wasn't called the Bash. The wording on the shirt was:

1st Annual Northern California Fly Fishing Board Gathering.

. . . you tied the "Harry's Coffee Bean" and the fly had a thin wire with a coffee bean attached.

Classic!

As I recall I drank mine. I think Ben still has his.

Anything is possible, my friend, but don't hold your breath. I have a difficult time planning anything these days with Jenny being a sophomore playing soccer and basketball and Jess in basketball and track. Jessica just signed a national letter of intent to Wagner College in New York and I do not know when they will want her there. Jenny will be playing summer basketball in June. I don't commit to anything these days except those two . . . well, and Jackie :O) I'm way better spur of the moment than anything else. I'm sure that will change in a couple years after Jen graduates.

after Jen graduates: Then you'll be coming up to Spokane to visit her at my house.

Charlie, you know I will still take you up on that offer if I can talk Jenny into UW. And you know she'd come in a heartbeat and live with you and Patty. I wouldn't be that lucky! If she ever did, though, I could actually send your rifle back up to you with her and she could continue her 0-fer streak -- that would be translated 2 bucks, 2 shots, ZERO misses, all with your rifle and your reloads. Don't get much better than that!

I have not participated in eons... who's up for it and what are folks up for, eh?

Well, there's UW, Spokane, Eastern Washington University, Whitworth College, and Gonzoga, all in the immediate Spokane area.......I'll also urge her on.
