Fishing Report 17 Years, 6 Months ago

I took most of the day off today and took the float tube out in search of something with fins. I made it out to a little local pond and little lake. Got 15 fish, 12 bluegill and 3 bass... it was fun. I haven't done a lot of bass fishing, so this was new and enjoyable. Just threw buggers with a sly line and it worked out just fine.

Dude, what's up with all this fishing lately? I though you just had a kid/moved/had too much FOR work/etc.?

I've been lucky... it is true... my wife was gone all last week, so I had some fishing days to cash in. I have had a lot of working going on, but my weekend working is over for at least a few weeks. Most of my fishing days have been only a few hours long, so it still isn't like the bachelor days, but then I have more to get back home for than I did in those days.

Just wait until the little dear wants to go with you!
I'm taking my 24 year old daughter to one of our high Sierra secret creeks in a couple of weeks!
