Pic "O" the Week 17 Years, 6 Months ago
Haven't posted in a little while. Thought I might post a pic or two from the local area here near Fresno. I've been up to the upper Kings river on a couple of outings and have notice that the wild flowers are out and in full bloom. Haven't caught many fish, but it sure is nice this time of year.....

Outstanding photographs!

How did you do the last one? Is that a photoshop effect?

Jim, can you give us a little more detail in how you set up the shot of the lupines. I see from the title of your jpg upload the following-LBPolarizerwith3stopSOftGND ,if that helps.

Very nice photo.

Not much to say Gitt. Found a nice spot on a steep hill and leveled the tripod. Used a 3 stop soft graduated neutral density filter to balance out the light and had a Singh-Ray LB warming polarizer on the lens to help make the colors pop a little more. That's about it. Thanks very much.

Jim,

I found that if I stare at the last one too long I feel dizzy.

Maybe it is the flourescent lighting in here.

Nice pics none the less.
