It kind of smells like skunk...

I am on my worst run in the catching department... maybe ever, but certainly in the last decade. I have fished four times... starting with the Yuba, then the E. Fork Carson in Nevada, then Greenwood Creek and the Middle Fork American just yesterday... four outings without a fish... I didn't fish for too long on those last few, but still...

Man... my fishing confidence is in tatters... I need a bass or a blue gill or a stream full of 4 inch trout... something... anything... I'd take a sucker or N. Sac. Pike Minnow... something, anything...



I guess these things happen... I'm fishing new water, water I don't know much about and the time of year isn't ideal... but still...

Stretch

Last weekend I put in a serious day on some streams in the A drainage...and had similar results. But it sure is a pretty area. The sole saving grace was the Rubicon.

Let's go out this weekend. I need some fishing time. You'll have to catch some or I'll give you crap for months.

That sounds good but I can't do Saturday... we have the California's River Festival this Sat. and I'll be working there. Sunday?
