Truckee river in march? 17 Years, 7 Months ago  
I'm heading out for a long weekend in late March up to Tahoe. Would like to fish if i can. Is the Truckee open? would it be worth checkin out?

It's open. I haven't fished the CA section in a while so can't help you there (only the NV side). Probably going to be cold yet, just watch the streamflows if we get a warm spell.

do you know at what flow it becomes too high to wade and fish?

I'd look out for big spikes in the flow. Send me a pm before the dates and I'll check it out, might have a little time to meet you as well Reno Fly Shop could give you some tips as well or CyberFly
