next weekend I am going to be up between Mariposa and the South Portal at a place called Yosemite Bug, (spam warning)doing my roadie bit. It's right on the Merced, and the Foresta bridge section is not

too

far away. It's gonna be 1 March (and mebbe 2 March) so it's still winter.

Any chance it's worth bringing a fly rod? I know a few of our posters at least used to fish that stream from time to timen the summer. Nymphs only at this time of year?? or just stay in the Lodge and drink??

I'm wondering if you guys are viewing the board through the moderators page and if maybe that may be causing the problem??? Anyway, I sent you an e-mail. Watch out for bears while you're up there. Especially if you see one wearing a Giants hat, smokin' Camels and drinking Mt Dew. That one is VERY aggressive! Shawn

Not the NY Giants, the SF Giants.... Although if memory serves it may have been a NCFFB hat ..... Anyway, you heard the story didn't you? Watch out for that one, he'll knock ya up if you're not careful.
